I have been in love with this Lorcan O’ Herlihy original for quite some time, even prior to my association with Deasy Penner and Partners. Lorcan has such a knack for creating unique design aesthetics that literally pop out at you when you drive by. When Lorcan makes his presence known on your street, your neighborhood is automatically taken to another level. The turnover in the building has been quite low, so even though I admired from afar, I never had the opportunity to see an interior unit until now.
This condo is absolutely stunning with huge windows that have ample views from all directions, hardwood floors with an intricate walnut pattern, a big usable patio, and a gorgeuos upgraded kitchen. The owner also did an elaborate custom closet and pulled the hardwoods into the bedrooms, which gets rid of the funky brown speckled carpets that were in the other unit (otherwise know as the bad blind date - hot pics in the profile, but a total dud in person). There is also a double sided fireplace that adds a dramatic effect to the unit. I would speculate that there is some wiggle room in the price since it is currently at about $840/sq foot. With a property this special/unique, it’s hard to comp out. It’s definitely worth a look! I have had the chance to work with developer, Richard Loring, on Lorcan’s other sold out project on Formosa. I find him to be one of the best developer’s I have ever had the chance to work with. He always produces a high quality project and makes sure the execution of the the architects vision is spot on.
